Attorney Alexis M. Wilson is a native of Jeanerette, Louisiana. She was raised by her mother and maternal grandparents.

Her mother is an accomplished entrepreneur. Her maternal grandmother is a well-accomplished entrepreneur and Pastor, and her maternal grandfather is a military veteran and carpenter.

She is an alumnus of Jeanerette Senior High School. She attended Capella University while working, full-time as a Deputy Clerk of Court at Jeanerette City Court. After graduating from Capella University, she attended Southern University Law Center. Where she graduated in the spring of 2023. She sat for the Louisiana Bar in July of 2023.

Attorney Wilson enjoys being a wife, a daughter, a niece, and a mother to two wonderful kids. She takes pride in serving the communities she was reared in and underprivileged communities and individuals.

Attorney Wilson was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2023 after passing the Louisiana Bar Exam on her first attempt.
